This final stage of your CNC journey is delivered through the one-on-one sessions with the instructor, each lasting one hour. During these personalized sessions, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned in the previous two classes Participants will choose a small project—such as a sign, tray, or decorative panel—and work closely with the instructor to bring it to life using Vectric and the CNC machine. The project’s feasibility must be discussed and approved with the instructor either during the Vectric design class or prior to the start of the lab sessions. After you sign up for the class, we will assign you a time slot within a two-day window. All participants are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to their assigned time to ensure a smooth and timely start. Each session is fully hands-on, combining digital design and physical making, with direct guidance tailored to your individual goals and skill level.

Children's Heirloom Teddy Bear Rocking Chair

Part 1: Saturday, November 1, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

Part 2: Sunday, November 2, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

Build this little rocking chair from white oak for your children or grandchildren, and it will be passed down for generations. This project will enhance your router, table saw, and bandsaw skills, and you will learn how to create use and sliding dovetails in chair construction. As always, machine use and safety will be discussed throughout the class.

End Grain Cutting Board

Part 1: Monday, November 3, 2025, 6 PM - 9 PM

Part 2: Tuesday, November 4, 2025, 6 PM - 9 PM

The instructor will guide students through the entire process of creating an eye-catching end grain cutting board, from selecting the right hardwood to applying the perfect finish. This stunning kitchen accessory may look challenging, but it's amazingly easy to make thanks to a simple trick for creating the lively geometric pattern. Over the course of these two-day sessions, participants will learn to use various power tools and master gluing and clamping techniques, ensuring they complete their own unique and beautifully finished pieces.
