The Tidewater Woodworkers Guild is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the tools, equipment, processes, and procedures used in the art of fine woodworking. The Tidewater Woodworkers Guild members hold their main meeting every fourth Monday of each month.
The club is dedicated to helping people advance their woodturning skills. From novice wood turner to advanced bowl turning craftsmen, we have people who are glad to share their knowledge and experience. Regular monthly meetings are held 6:30pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Come out June 28th all day and turn pens to send to active duty military. This is a kick off even for our big Turn for the Troops event in November! No experience necessary, just come out and TURN!
The second Tuesday of each month Woodcraft, in conjunction with Tidewater Turners, hosts a free, informal meeting of woodturners. Each meeting has time for: Show and tell for items completed or in progress. Discussion of previous club meeting demonstrations. Discussion of a topic of interest for that meeting. General discussion of any other topics of interest. Each attendee is encouraged to ask questions and contribute their thoughts. No membership in any club is required.
