Here’s the info: - Up to two contestants per team (only need to register for one spot per team) - Two Divisions: Professional and Amateur (We’re defining professional as anyone who’s been paid to make a piece of furniture and/or owns 4+ FESTOOL Tools) - Registration Fee: $20 per team - Three hour time limit - Material: 1 x 12 x 72 piece of pine - Must only use FESTOOL tools - We’ll provide the pine board, glue, tools, clamps, and supplies as well as a safety observer/moderator (no input on design allowed). - The winning team in each division will receive $500 in FESTOOL Cash. Winners will be determined by criteria including number of FESTOOL Tools used, timeliness, amount of waste produced, and average score received from our panel of judges on appearance, structural integrity, and complexity of design. - We’ll also award a prize to the People’s Choice Winner as determined by our Facebook audience.
