Designed for beginner woodworkers , this course offers a comprehensive introduction to woodworking. The design is carved in such a way that certain elements stand out from the background, giving the illusion of depth and dimension. Our relief carving workshop introduces the fundamental concepts of sculpting depth into wood pattern creation, wood preparation, transferring the design, removing background wood, modeling shapes with tools (chisels), detailing, and finishing.
