This beginning woodworking class will easily guide you through the first steps of woodworking and you will end up with a Cutting Board. You'll learn about lumber, safety, power equipment use, project layout, assembly techniques, joinery and finishing approaches. All of your questions can be answered in this hands-on class, and it will be fun.
We have had great success in helping beginning bowl turners in this class. You get personal attention from our teachers on any questions that you might have. Segmented wood turning is an art form with very few limitations. By combining different components, you can create just about any different shape or size and by arranging different wood species, you can create just about any type of surface design.
