Explore the fascinating world of woodturning and create a stunning wooden bowl—no prior experience needed! In this class, you'll learn to craft a beautiful bowl from wood using a lathe. The process is both fulfilling and calming, as you transform a piece of wood into a functional bowl. Guided by our instructor, you'll start by mastering the basics of wood lathe operation and safety. Once you're comfortable with the equipment, you'll choose and prepare the wood for turning. With the wood securely mounted on the lathe, you'll use a variety of carbide tools to shape your bowl. By the end of the class, you'll have a gorgeous, hand-turned bowl to proudly display! Plus, you'll gain the skills and knowledge to continue woodturning on your own. Note: Minimum of 3 needed to hold class.
