This course covers the materials and assembly process for building a shop-made router sled, enabling the student the ability to flatten workpieces that exceed the capacity of their planer. Students are asked to bring in their router to insure correct measurements.
Create a one-of-a-kind, high quality, long-handled wooden spoon that is sure to become a precious family heirloom. In this hands-on spoon carving class you will learn the fundamentals of working with wood and hand tools in a small group setting, under the specialized instruction of an experienced carver and teacher. The class guides and supports each participant in making a completed project that is ready to go home and be used in the kitchen or displayed with pride.
Footstool Wrap up
An informal gathering of the Tidewater Woodworkers Guild. Attendees bring their current projects, challenges and lessons to share with fellow members.
The second Tuesday of each month Woodcraft, in conjunction with Tidewater Turners, hosts a free, informal meeting of woodturners. General discussion of any other topics of interest. Each attendee is encouraged to ask questions and contribute their thoughts. No membership in any club is required.
