Minimum Age 18. Do you and your significant other want to learn basic wood working skills and have fun creating a one of a kind project together? You only need to show up and be ready to make some saw dust. Projects will vary from month to month and will consist of small projects such as pens, bottle stoppers/openers, pepper grinders, etc.
Minimum Age 18. Spend an entire day with the router, learning exactly what this versatile tool can do. This will be a very hands-on experience and will cover many router topics including creating inlays, template work (i.e.: liquid catch groove on a cutting board), using an edge guide, tongue and groove, and combining bits to create decorative moldings and accents.
Minimum Age 18. Platters expose the beauty of wood grain, add a warm look to your serving table, and make quick, easy and excellent gifts. They can be made from a single piece of 1" thick material or a lamination to create pattern or color variation. With a little creativity, they can become cheese or cake platters, chip and dip combinations, or even a Lazy Susan. you will turn both sides using turning tape (an alternative mounting technique) without the aid of a chuck, glue block or screws. Learn the design requirements to make a perfect platter every time!
