Was awkward to assemble at first but turned out nice. Made from Oak, next one will be Cherry. The builder can personalize the finishing touches.
cute little horse
i made 2 of these for my 2 grandchildren who were expected this summer. They were somewhat awkward to build since the body was in 4 parts and all had to match exactly, but i solved thin by useing a large disc sander table mounted. i assembled the body and then sanded all of the parts together for a uniformed edge. i did the same thing with the rockers so they would be exactly the same and would rock evenly. It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. I do suggest that you order the wedges for the legs when you order the plans. wedges are difficult to cut and since you have to turn the wood on edge somewhat dangerous. Ordering the wedges just made my project sooooooo much simplier
