This robust, feature-rich permanent mount WoodRiver® Carving Visev gives carvers infinitely variable positions for workpieces. Made from cast iron and steel, it’s a hefty 13 pounds, 10 ounces. In its lowest position, the nominal height of the 5” carving platen is approximately 9 inches, with a full height of 12-3/4 inches. It has the capability to tilt or angle as needed and can rotate 360 degrees. It features 16 pre-drilled mounting holes and is removable, revealing a 1-inch by 8 TPI thread for attaching a turning chuck. For added maneuverability, the base also rotates 360 degrees and can be secured in place with a lock ring. Comprehensive mounting and usage instructions are provided for full safety.
