      Works like a dream

This is just a great coping sled. A must-have for end grain routing. Well worth the extra $$ over the cheaper single clamp types of sleds. Very well cut, rounded phenolic pieces and high quality anodized hardware. Goes together in just a couple minutes. Very easy to use.

      Could have had better

The coping sled was close to what was described but after assembly and use, final product (styles and rails) were distorted. After further looking at the coping sled it was noticed that the bottom plate would bow causing the sled and wood to not sit flat on the router table, even with minimal pressure from the clamping screw. NOTE: WOODPECKER STATED "Extreme hold down force" Not true.. This is totally unacceptable for a pricey item like this. Also, you have to have a fence that is pretty high (5" min) in order for the guide piece to work but Woodpecker did state you may be required to add a sacrificial fence piece. And last, The clamp downs are adjustable in only one direction. If your doing a door that is smaller then 8" or style/rail smaller than 5" then this product will not work.

      Love this sled

This sled is really nice! It's well thought out, and is made of quality components. I especially appreciate how it registers against the fence fairly high up, away from the router bit so you don't have to worry about the router chewing into your sled.
