first issue 6 to 8 weeks...try 5 MONTHS!
I wouldn't know how to rate this magazine because I haven't received it yet. The ordered was placed on 12/11/13 and I called on 2/25/14 to see why I haven't received my first issue yet. When I called they said, "you don't get your first issue until April, that's when the 2 year cycle starts." I double checked and the online product description says please allow 6 to 8 weeks for first delivery. If you aren't going to start the subscription in 6 to 8 weeks then don't advertise it that way!
This magazine is a great way to get helpful hints & find new projects.... All my experiences (on line &in the store) have been great! This is now the first place I look foe new equipment, power tools, accessories and/or ideas.
Only Gets Better
I love this publication. Its always informative and seems to arrive just in time for a project I'm planning.
One of the best woodworking magazines
I read this magazine every month and enjoy it very much. I have learned alot about woodworking thru this magazine, and have used some of their plans.
Worth every dollar
We used to say "worth every penny" but due to EXTREME inflation I had to change the penny to dollar. The magazine is well written and contains valuable information that I haven't seen elsewhere. For instance, the latest issue contains an article on toxicity of different woods. I have seen articles in other magazines but they didn't go into the details of how they can effect you... I repeat it is worrth every $$$.
I look For Ideas and plans also what's new
Lots of good tips and tricks
How to use tools and equipment that I haven't used before.
easy reading good ideas I think the mail man reads it before I do.
I have made quite a few of the projects and they turned out great.
One of the Best
Enjoy the tips and use the plans
Can't Wait For The Next Issue
Application and incorporation of ideas to projects I make from scratch or modify from other plans. I feel better prepared to complete projects.
I like the projects and plans. I also have used some of the plans and changed them for my own designs.

Woodcraft 2 year Subscription review 09
I subscribed my step-father to this magazine for his Birthday. He loves building anything and everything out of wood and I thought he would really enjoy the articles and ideas in this magazine.
