The key to consistent and fast honing is repeatability - whether you are a sharpening veteran or just starting out, the Veritas® Mk. II lets you concentrate on sharpening without worrying about controlling the blade angle at the same time. This makes your honing reliable, accurate and consistent. The Mk. II will set bevel angles from 15° to 54° and back bevels from 10° to 20°, and it will accommodate blades from 1/2" to 2-7/8" in width. Included is a blade registration jig which slides onto the guide body, centering and squaring the blade with the integral fence ensuring accuracy. Blade stop with discrete positions for preset bevels and three-position eccentric roller allows you to hone micro bevels quickly and accurately with a simple turn of a knob.
