Timber Wolf® makes the world's only thin-kerf, low tension, silicon steel bandsaw blades that will outlast your old carbon steel blades by a mile! Your bandsaw will cut better and faster, with less wear on bearings, shafts and tires. Tooth angles and gullet symmetries, combined with a unique set pattern, create a blade that is everything a wood-cutting blade should be. The round design of the gullet eliminates any work hardening zones. Couple that with the special 6.5° rake angle, 5-tooth set pattern and .025" thick thin-kerf blade and you have one excellent bandsaw blade!

Timberwolf makes outstanding blades. They are worth every penny. Before I purchased this blade I was looking into upgrading my 3/4hp motor to a 1.5hp due to constant bogging down - even in thinner material. With this blade, and proper feed rate, the 3/4 horse will resaw through 11" thick red oak!
Moving up in price
I have been seriously woodworking for only a little over 2 years and have had many blades break on me for no apparent reason? So I bought this slightly more expensive blade. Have used it long enough to think it should have broken by now but it hasn't. I use 1/4" so I guess they could be a little fragile? (The 1/2" blade I use for resawing has held up just fine.)
Cuts curves well, even in 2-inch mahogany. Does not burn wood when used properly. Leaves a smooth edge.
