      Don't waste your money

The diameter of both nibs was too small to seat in the tube. I managed to fix that with a dab of thin CA glue, but then I discovered that the INSIDE diameter of the nibs was too large to hold the refills in place. Beyond that, I think this thing is a gimmick anyway. After I received the kit, I visited my local Office Depot to see if they carry the smaller-than-normal refills this kit requires. They don't. I had intended this as a gift for my recently-teacher-certified granddaughter. She will get a real pen instead--much better than this too-clever idea.

Best 2 in 1 item out there.

I make this pen for all my school teacher friends. They love it because they do not have to carry 2 pens. I always tell them where they can get refills and include extras when I give them as gifts. Teachers do wish it came with caps so they don't get ink in their pockets. It would be nice to have regular size refills, but as long as you can get refills for it,it is great.

      Neat!

I just turned this little beauty last night. Probably the most challenging, but easy enough to turn, pen I've turned lately. I highly recommend using a digital calibre to keep the measurements of the three blanks equal– there's no way to eye-ball this one. I haven't written with it yet, however, the ink is very thin. Great for editing!

Perfect end of the school year present.

I made two of these, one for each of my kids. Their teachers loved them. I do wish WC would carry a (dated) band, but they are available elsewhere. The pen is comfortable to use and has the added benefit of two colored inks ready to go. I believe I'll be doing more, at least until my kids don't want to give them away any more... lol

      Great project for teachers gifts.

Wife is a teacher, and the only thing she wanted different was a green ink on one end rather than the blue. Am making several for gifts for her fellow teachers.
