Details

This new advanced North American formulation of Polyx®-Oil is Osmo’s best-selling hardwax-oil product. The wood finish is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes, which create an extremely durable and hardwearing finish that will not crack, flake or peel and can be spot repaired and refreshed without sanding. Polyx®-Oil is also resistant to common household liquids like coffee and soft drinks, is saliva and sweatproof, and is safe for humans, animals and plants.

Excellent for floors, stairs, cabinetry, kitchen prep surfaces and even children’s toys.
Extremely durable and hardwearing – will not crack, flake or peel
Resistant to water, dirt, and common household spills
Microporous and molecularly bonds with the wood fibers
Easily applied with a brush, roller, buffing pad, or cloth
Can be spot repaired and/or renewed with no sanding required
Made in Germany – conforms to strict German and European norms

From our Fall 2021 Woodcraft Catalog, we featured a short scoop on a Checkerboard build with one of our interns, Nikhil Narwani. Although his only woodworking experience was in the novice category of woodturning pens, he wanted to take this opportunity to learn more. No better time and place to add to his resume with this experience, than with Woodcraft and its staff of experienced woodworkers both at the Parkersburg Woodcraft store and from our corporate office. You can have fun being the “King” of the workshop with this enjoyable project build and in playing the game; it’s a win-win for everyone!
