a great plus to my other carving tools
I added this set to my pfeil Swiss made Intermediate Size Carving Tool Set, 12 piece Item #05B59 I bought a few years ago. Now I can do more carving with finer detail.

Wonderful tools
Bought these tools a few months ago and have not been disappointed. This is a wonderful all around set that I have used for both relief and character carvings. No cons with this set.

High quality but...
Pfeil are great qualiity handtools and these are no exception. Beautifully made and hold an edge. However, if you are more than an occasional carver I'd recommend you go with the full-size versions (unless you happen to have very small hands; I happen to have exceptionally large hands). This size is probably useful if you are adding to your tool roll to have lighter weight tools for one-handed use in a pen grip and already have full-size versions of the same sweeps and widths
