This easy-to-use tool is so versatile that it should be in every woodworker’s shop. It could be called an offset gauge, layout tool, setup gauge, ruler, and depth gauge – too many functions to count. What you can count on is its accuracy. The gauge is manufactured with rare-earth magnets on the ends to keep it in place when setting up machines and freeing up both hands. It measures 4" in depth or height and easily locks in place with a knurled nut.
