- When moving from one cut to the next (rapid travel), predicting where the head might move can be difficult. Microjig recommends setting the Z-Clearance for fast travel to 2" (50 mm) when there is any chance of the head moving over a clamp position, especially with machines that return to X0, Y0 when a program finishes.
