I use it to line up my table saw. it is a great prduct to do this with.

Simple, inexpensive, and useful
This item fit the miter slot on my Sprunger tilting arbor saw perfectly. By this I mean it is easy to press into, slide inside of, and to remove from the miter slot. Once in the caliper is just placed on the device and the turn of a knob secures it. For the first time my measurements from the miter slot to the blade and to the fence is accurate.
