Probably the best on the market
Hammer veneering is sort of a lost art. It is a great way to work with materials that would we extremely cost prohibitive if solid materials were used. In addition you can also utilize the dimensional stability of man made materials (plywood/MDF) to layout designs that would not hold up to wood movement. Hammer veneering is tricky, but fun to do. You don't need to spend a fortune on a vacuum press or work with extremely toxic glues either. This hammer is one of the best I have seen. The head is perfect and the balance is terrific.
