A medium-sized felling axe, the Hults Bruk Kisa has a head weight of 1.75 lbs. and a 26" handle. The Kisa excels at felling trees, lopping of branches, clearing trails and general work around the homestead . It is not too big to get out and about, but also not too small to handle bigger jobs either.

The Kisa Axe head is made from Swedish axe steel struck multiple times during shaping and forging, which increases both the density and durability of the axe head. Plus the head is constructed in such a way that there is a tempered zone designed to hold a very sharp edge even after years of use. Handle is American hickory treated with linseed oil. Hults Bruk Premium axes/hatchets are hardworking pieces of art unrivaled by even the best known brands. They are meticulously hand finished to increase durability and bring out the beauty of the natural material. After the firing and forging, all axe/hatchet heads go through several stages of hand grinding until the edge is razor-sharp. Then the hickory handles are manufactured, hand-sanded smooth, oiled with several coats of linseed oils and joined with the axe/hatchet head. All premium axes/hatchets come with a full-sized leather edge protector with adjustable lace.
