    Great design and build quality

This template works EXCELLENT and makes the work easy. Items to note BEFORE you get started: 1) The picture WITH the two kids is incorrect. It will make them measure roughly 2-3" taller than they are. The measurement marks need to start at the end of the board. 2) The picture WITHOUT the kids is correct. It shows the mark starting with the first inch off of the floor. 3) In order to make a the board as shown, because the #6 of the template goes above the actual 6' mark, you will need your board to be AT LEAST 6'2" Echoing the previous reviewer, Wood River should sell some numbers higher than 6 because I too would be interested in them.

Gifts for Great Nieces and Nephews

This template works great! I raised the bar a bit by using laminate (Wilsonart Matte White) over 1/2” birch plywood. I set my laminate router with bushing guide to cut just below the laminate, then painted each recess (tedious). I think the results were worth the upgrade. Now they can mark the height and name with a Sharpie. I included markers in different colors for the families with many kids. A fun project, and a great template.I wish there were digit templates for 7,8,9 & 0 - I would like to make a wall chart to easily measure lumber, pipe, etc.
