Briwax Gilt Cream is a waxy paste containing metallic flakes and pigments – in this case gold in color. Traditionally used to do touch-up repairs on ornate plaster picture and mirror frames, now it is also used to highlight grain and architectural features on a variety of woodwork and furniture. Briwax Gilt Cream can be applied by finger (we recommend using a glove) or small stiff brush (like a stenciling brush), allowed to dry, and either left as is or polished to a high sheen. Allow to dry for 24 hours prior to polishing.
