About This Product

The Festool TSV 60 K Plunge-Cut Saw with Scoring Blade achieves splinter-free cuts on both sides on the most difficult materials. The built-in KickbackStop, which stops the blade in the blink of an eye, both protects your workpiece and helps minimize the risk of injury to your hands. With a combination of Festool system accessories, your work can always be precise and customized to your standards, in the shop or on the jobsite. With the TSV 60 K, workshop-quality results can be replicated on the jobsite – as good as with a stationary machine. Guide rail not included.

Features:

  • The scoring blade ensures splinter-free cuts on both sides of the material
  • Diamond scoring saw blade with very long service life for perfect cut quality, time after time
  • Comprehensive system with ideal accessories for perfect panel cutting
  • The unique KickbackStop helps to reduce the risk of injury caused by kickback during sawing or plunge-cutting into the workpiece
  • 2-7/16" (62 mm) cutting depth; can be combined with the FSK cross-cutting guide rail or FS guide rail
  • Scoring blade matches the angle, even on bevel cuts from 0° to 45°
  • Both the scoring saw blade and the main saw blade can be manually activated and deactivated
  • The FastFix spindle stop on the main saw blade and the ability to stand on its side make changing the saw blade very simple, even with the scoring saw blade
  • EC-TEC motor, in combination with the thin-kerf saw blades, ensures constant and consistent power for perfect cuts

FAQs

Is the scoring blade adjustable, and how easy is it to dial in?

Yes. The scoring blade on the TSV 60 is fully adjustable for depth and alignment, allowing it to score just the surface layer before the main blade follows. Festool designed the adjustment to be tool‑controlled and repeatable, so once it is dialed in for a material, it stays consistent; most users report it is straightforward to set and does not require trial‑and‑error after the initial setup.

Does it work with all existing Festool guide rails?

Yes. The TSV 60 is fully compatible with all standard Festool FS guide rails and can also be used with FSK cross‑cutting guide rails. The scoring feature works automatically when the saw is used on these rails and does not require a special or dedicated track.

What materials benefit the most from the scoring feature?

Primarily laminated panels, melamine, veneered sheet goods, and other surface‑coated materials where tear‑out is common. Solid wood generally does not benefit from the scoring blade.
