The CMT® ITK-Xtreme series blade is designed for professional woodworkers who require durable, high-precision saw blades. Its special chrome carbide reduces tooth abrasion and the tri-metal brazing allows its teeth to handle high-stress impact in hardwood or composite material.
Each carbide tip is precision ground for smooth cuts while reducing the force needed and improving cutting speed. The teeth are brazed to the body using a special tri-metal brazing process (silver-copper-silver) which guarantees longer cut performance and resistance. The copper center protects the carbide tips and steel shoulders by adding flexibility and impact resistance when cutting through harder substances or knots in wood. Further enhancing the blade’s performance is the chrome-plated body which protects against pitch build-up.
