Looks nice, lots of problems
It looks nice, and for the most part works. The quality of the mechanism in total isn't great - it feels flimsy and like it could break at any moment. The instructions are poor. You are supposed to make an indent on the top for the base of the mechanism to sit - this is not described well, and also the picture is hard to see since it is printed in black and white and also uses a dark mechanism and dark wood. It looks fine with the mechanism sitting on top, and because there is a through hole I have the ability to fix this later, but still would be nice to have clearer directions. The biggest problem though, is the screws. Because of the wide lip on the mechanism, you have to install the screws at an angle or have special tools, as a regular screwdriver won't work. I broke one head off while trying to screw it on. It it still secure enough to use for a while with maybe some fixes later down the road. Not the worst thing I have ever bought, but I certainly won't be making another of this style.
