Works well!
Not sure where the other reviewer ran into trouble. This is a sheet metal "intermediate" base plate that should sit between the base of the router and the plastic baseplate that comes with the router. If mounted in that way, the screws that hold the original plastic baseplate to the router are plenty long enough to hold both. It comes with a center hole that, I believe, accepts Triton's propietary bushings, but also with an adapter that accepts standard router bushings, e.g. Porter-Cable. The nice thing is that the adapter can be easily removed and the bushing changed with the adapter out of the base. This prevents the knuckle-scraping task of threading the top nut for the bushing on while trying to reach through the router. This baseplate is only for Triton's two big plunge routers - check your model number.

Requires extensive work-around!
No instructions with it NOR online at Triton! Will not work if simply attached to the router base (it protrudes). If the original router base is attached on top of it (requiring some new longer screws!), it almost fits. It still protrudes, so I needed four 0.040" washers between this guide and the original plastic base; then it fit fine. However, I would like a 0.040" SHEET of steel (not washers) drilled to fit the router. Also, if you look at the pdf for the $99 template guide kit, you can learn how this guide is supposed to work. What a pain!!!
