Welcome to carbide turning!! We will go over safety, mandrel styles, mounting blanks, turning techniques and finishes. Each student will create one pen and one bottle opener handle. All materials are provided with tuition.
Step up your joinery. In this class you will learn to plan, lay out, cut and fit artistic through dovetail joints. All work will be done using hand tools.
Get started carving with a simple cowboy boot! Learn the basics, how to hold your tools and what they are called, how to sharpen and how best to tackle a new project. You will need a cut resistant glove and a thumb guard. Students must be at least 13 years old and accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.
Creating complex carvings just got easier with the CNC machine. We’ll show you the basics on how to use a CNC machine and some tips to get you started.
