In this Milling Lumber Basics class, you'll learn the essential techniques to turn rough-cut lumber into perfectly squared, flat, and smooth boards using three key tool: the planer, jointer, and table saw. Starting with rough lumber, you'll first flatten one face and edge on the jointer to create a stable reference surface. Then using the planer you'll thickness the board to the desired dimensions, ensuring a smooth and uniform surface. Finally, you'll square the opposite edge and the width of the board o the table saw, making sure all four sides are perfectly aligned. this class is perfect for beginners and intermediate woodworkers who want to master the fundamentals of milling lumber, laying a strong foundation for more advanced woodworking projects.
