Folding Rocking Chair

Are you ready to take your woodworking skills to the next level? You will build your own truly unique folding rocking chair under the hands-on guidance of the chair’s designer. Made from high quality cherry and maple woods, it is sure to become a family heirloom. In the class, we will use the bandsaw, table saw, miter saw, drill press, drum sander, drill, router, and hand tools. Some pieces will be pre-cut before class. If you have some basic woodworking experience, come join us! Class size is limited to 4 students.

Woodshop 101

Looking to get started in woodworking but not sure where to begin? This is the class for you! Paul will introduce you to the most common tools in the shop and assure you understand how to operate each of them safely. You will also learn the essentials about wood grain and movement as you move through the milling process. Students will be paired up during the class, and will leave with a cutting/cheese board that will be a joy to show off This is a hands-on class so come ready to get dirty, have some fun, and create something beautiful!!! In this class you too can make this striking project from maple, cherry and walnut. Join Louis and help rustle up some wood, clamps and water-resistant glue and get started.
