3D Diamond Cutting Board

This is a great opportunity to make your own 3D End Grain Cutting Board using only three different woods - maple, cherry and walnut. You will learn step by step how to make this cutting board that will really impress your friends and family. You will cover basic bandsaw mechanics, tuning the bandsaw, and making perfect straight or angled cuts. At the end of the class each student will have a fantastic 3D Cutting Board made with their own hands. This class is designed for woodworkers of all skill levels. Woodshop 101 at Night

Looking to get started in woodworking but not sure where to begin? This is the class for you! Louis will introduce you to the most common tools in the shop and assure you understand how to operate each of them safely. You will also learn the essentials about wood grain and movement as you move through the milling process. Students will be paired up during the class, and will leave with a cutting/serving board that will be a joy to show off. This is a hands-on class so come ready to get dirty, have some fun, and create something beautiful!! This is a two session night class.
