This three day hands-on course is designed to empower and inspire women to explore the world of woodworking, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills. Throughout the class, you'll learn essential techniques, safety practices, and the fundamentals of working with wood, from measuring and cutting to sanding and finishing. With a supportive and inclusive environment, you'll gain confidence in using tools, creating beautiful projects, and unleashing your creativity. Basic Bowl Turning

Saturday, September 13, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

This class is designed for the beginner to intermediate turner who wants to get a better handle on bowl turning.Topics will include wood selection, mounting options, tool selection, sharpening, sanding and finishing.

Turning a Wooden Pen

Sunday, September 14, 4 PM - 7 PM

Have you ever wanted to make something yourself but you just didn't know what? Join us in this pen turning class and learn the basics of pen making including wood selection, turning techniques, and assembly of the pen. You will leave with a completed pen to keep or give as a gift. Materials included for one pen, you may make more as time permits.
