In this class you will learn how to cut the dovetail joint by hand using only a handsaw and a chisel. OK, a saw, chisel, and a marking gauge. Alright, saw, chisel, marking gauge, and a pencil, but that's it. OK, OK, yes, there may be a small thing to mark an angle - and some tape. No power tools though, honest. All materials and tools provided, or you can bring your own tools if you wish.
In this class instructor Jon will walk you through the process of making a small wall hanging cabinet. Solid wood edge banding, cope and stick joinery, and making trim are some of the topics you will learn.
In this class learn all the techniques to pour and make your first epoxy project. Over the course of three days you will learn how to create the mold, set up and pour epoxy, as well as apply a beautiful finish. This class is great for anyone looking to get into epoxy pours regardless of skill level.
Join us as we walk through how to set yourself up for success. In order to get clean, tight-fitting joints in your woodworking projects your lumber must be flat, straight and square. Whether you choose to use power tools or hand tools, we show you the best ways to accurately flatten, square, and true-up your boards before you even begin the joinery.
