In this workshop, you'll learn how to take apart, clean, flatten, sharpen, and adjust the hand plane so it performs at its best. By the end of the class you'll understand what makes a hand plane sing -- and how to keep it in top shape for years to come.
Duck season will be here before you know it. Join Jesse for this fun class and learn to turn your own custom duck call. Jesse will show you all the set up techniques, including a finish for the call. Materials included. Tools required: Face shield or safety glasses, dust mask, ruler, pencil, Easywood Hollower #1(optional), 3/8” Fingernail Spindle Gouge, ¾” Roughing Gouge, 3/16” Parting Tool, 1/16” Parting Tool, Outside Calipers, and digital calipers.
