Beginners Carving Class

If you're looking to start a new hobby or refresh some old carving skills, this is the class for you. We are offering a beginning wood carving class taught by longtime carver Duff Greenwood. Students will learn wood & tool selection, the basic four carving cuts, proper techniques, safety and how to carve a Comfort Bird. Written instructions and plans will be included. There is a material cost of $10 for the basswood carving block. Students need to bring a sharp carving knife with a one inch blade or purchase one at the store.
