Make this eye-catching, 16-inch square chessboard, from Walnut & Hard Maple using a router table, table saw, & thickness planer. In addition, the students will learn proper gluing & clamping techniques, different finishing choices & general wood shop safety procedures.
This class will provide preparation and application tips to achieve the best finish and help you understand what finish is best for your projects.
Learn to cast 2 blanks, after a 2 hour break, learn to turn your blanks into 2 pens. You will use the pressure pot, drill press and lathe. Choose your own colors, use some wood and see what your imagination creates.
