Build A Spline Corner Keepsake Box

HANDS-ON. Mark Seay has come up with a great Table Saw Box Class. Mark is a wonderful teacher and his hands-on style of teaching really helps everyone learn about "how" to do woodworking! Students will make a small Keepsake Box from two contrasting woods on the table saw. The little box will have spline cut corners with contrasting wood splines to give it strength. The contrasting splines will give the box an extra sharp look. This is a really great looking little box and would make a wonderful gift for that someone special. Square Board Fundamentals

Monday, May 26, 6 PM - 10 PM

HANDS-ON. Got rough boards? Want to learn the simple steps needed to machine that board square, flat and the correct thickness to build something? Then this is the perfect hands-on class for you. Howard will teach the basics of wood technology and stock preparation. This fun, quick class will cover the use of the table saw, jointer and thickness planer. Students will also learn which side of the board should be used for the outside of the project and learn how to glue up a panel without it cupping. DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE THIS CLASS!!...it is a "MUST TAKE" for anyone buying rough cut lumber. This class fills quickly so, sign up A.S.A.P. Turn A Pepper Mill

Part 1: Tuesday, May 27, 6 PM - 10 PM

HANDS-ON. Doug Jones has another great class for all our Turners. Spend the day with us and take home a wonderful 10" - 12" tall Pepper Mill. Doug will provide hands-on instruction as each student turns, applies the food safe finish and installs a metal style grinder unit. This will be a very popular class so sign up A.S.A.P.
