In this class, you will use a Zhen 4 3/4" Santoku knife blank to learn how to shape and attach a custom handle to create a unique knife. This high-quality knife is made of Japanese Damascus steel and is perfect for multi-tasking around the kitchen.
Learn how to create beautiful, custom designs through the art of wood burning. This class will guide students through the basics of pyrography, helping with creative thinking and skills development. This beginners class offers a rewarding, hands-on experience with endless creative possibilities. Tuition includes a woodburning pen kit for students to take home.
Intended for turners wanting to learn how to use a bowl gouge. Students will learn the basic design elements and methods to use a bowl gouge for clean cutting, how to mount a bowl blank on the lathe, be introduced to additional lathe tools, understand the requirements for a sharp tool, and make a small bowl. The bulk of the class is a hands-on experience. Intro to the Lathe and Spindle Turning class or Instructor Permission is required.
