This class is a great introduction to making mitered boxes! Students will learn how to cut accurate miters, assemble boxes, and install hinges to create an attractive lidded box. This is a hands-on experience so safety will be the top priority. Safety glasses, hearing protection, and materials are included.
Intended as an introduction to pen turning. Students will learn turning safety, tools, and techniques on the lathe and use the bandsaw and drill press to create a beautiful pen to take home. Materials included.
Learn how to layout and create patterns without a template. Carve patterns and scenes using a v-tool and gouges. These "applied" designs are a great way to add some pop to your projects. With a small kit many designs are possible, such as the bird carving students will also practice. Materials included.

Using your router to create projects gets a little easier with a jig or template. We’ll walk you through the basics how to rout with a template.
