By the end, you’ll be able to inlay veneer into a backer – foundational for marquetry. In the second session, you’ll apply your skills to create a simple leaf design. Advanced techniques, such as layering, grain orientation, sand-shading, and managing oxidation and shrinkage, will also be discussed to enhance your marquetry skills. This course is beginner-friendly, equipping you with essential techniques for more complex projects. Some woodworking experience is helpful but not required; all skill levels are welcome!
