The Festool VAC SYS Suction Clamp System

Work more efficiently with the new VAC SYS System at Woodcraft from Festool.  With proven vacuum-based suction clamping, the VAC SYS provides a highly effective and ergonomic work platform for nearly any project.  Effectively clamp material or a work piece for effortless machining and finishing while protecting delicate surfaces from clamp damage.

The Festool VAC SYS System was designed to reduce setup time with simple and effortless clamping that allows for full surface access, which is perfect for routing, sanding, carving or just about any project you imagine.  Festool uses proven vacuum-based suction clamping and provides a highly effective and ergonomic work platform for nearly any project.

This system provides the means to effectively clamp material or a workpiece for machining and finishing while protecting delicate surfaces from clamp damage.  This system enables the user to rotate material 360° degrees or tilt the workpiece from 0° to 90° as needed for even greater access.  The VAC SYS puts larger and more awkward pieces well within reach, which reduces the fatigue associated with stretching over and around the material.  The Clamping Module is equipped with a quick-release valve and a suction head that adheres to any nonporous surface. Use VAC SYS SE 1 Module or with a secondary VAC SYS SE 2 Clamping Module for additional clamping power. Click on this  USA_VACSYS_FactSheet for more details.

Each Clamping Module (available separately or with the VAC PUMP)…

…is equipped with a suction base that adheres to non-porous surfaces with a quick release valve, and can adapt to many surface sizes based on utilizing accessory interchangeable Vacuum Cups (available separately or Set).

Festool has also designed a VAC SYS MFT Clamp heavy-gauge metal mounting plate specifically designed to mount the VAC SYS Clamping Modules to MFT tables for operation and storage. The hinged design allows for the Clamping Modules to flip down when not in use and be stored under the table.
