Learn to construction your own cabinets! In this class each student will produce a 24” wide base cabinet with a drawer. You'll learn to break down sheet goods, build the cabinet box, and build a face frame door. The cabinet box will be made from ½” veneered plywood and the shaker style door will be constructed from hardwood cherry for the stiles and rails. The door will be mounted with soft close hidden hinges. Your cabinet will be unfinished at the end of class, and you will finish it at home. This is a four session class. Tuition includes $150 material fee.

Turn a Stave Bowl

Join our Stave Bowl Woodturning class and learn the art of crafting beautiful, multi-layered bowls from staves of wood. In this hands-on two session workshop, you’ll master the techniques of turning, assembling, and finishing a stave bowl while gaining a deeper understanding of grain patterns and wood selection. Perfect for beginners and experienced woodturners alike, this class offers step-by-step instruction and personalized guidance in a creative, relaxed setting. Bowl Turning with Carbide Tools

Thursday, April 30, 2026, 1 PM - 5 PM

Few things in woodworking are as instantly satisfying as transforming a rough, blocky piece of wood into a smooth, beautifully shaped bowl. In this class, you’ll use carbide turning tools—no sharpening required—so you can focus entirely on the creative process, not tool maintenance. You’ll learn the fundamentals of lathe operation, safety, and carbide-specific turning techniques that make the process approachable for beginners and enjoyable for all skill levels. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a finished bowl you’ll be proud to show off to friends and family. 🔧 No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little dusty!
