In this class we will build a small tool tote using simple joinery. Pocket holes, dadoes and finger joints all will be discussed. Tools used will include the table saw, drill press, band saw and router table. Each student will have the opportunity to use the tools and practice the skills demonstrated. Each student will build the components needed to assemble a small tool tote.
Students will learn the proper steps to make a unique pen, from cutting and turning to finishing and final assembly. Each person will turn a pen to take home. Makes a great gift!.
Learn the essential steps for milling, squaring and surfacing a board. This is a hands-on class that will teach you the basics of wood technology and stock preparation.
