New Class - Join resident expert Chip Siskey as he will guide you in making a beautiful shallow bowl that incorporates a square edged rim. You will focus on mounting techniques and proper tool presentation for precise cutting with an emphasis on the clean cut necessary to leave a square edge. DON'T MISS THIS ONE.
Calling all wannabe woodcarvers. Join us for a beginning wood carving class taught by longtime carver Duff Greenwood. Students will learn wood & tool selection, the basic four carving cuts, proper techniques, safety and how to carve a Comfort Bird. Written instructions and plans will be included. There is a material cost of $10 for the basswood carving block. Students need to bring a sharp carving knife with a two inch blade or purchase one at the store. This is a great class for beginning carvers.
