This will be a 2 part class. On the first day, students will learn about deep-pour resin and prepare live-edge wood pieces. The second day will consist of cutting and finishing the coasters.
Learn how to use a lathe by employing tools and techniques to turn a wood pen. Must be 18 years of age to attend. Class fee covers material to make 2 pens. Just getting started in woodworking or interested in improving your woodworking skills? This foundation course introduces you to the wonderful world of woodworking. In this two day hands-on class you will construct a small wall shelf with a drawer and two shelves using basic joinery techniques. You will also gain experience in how to safely use a miter saw, table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, router table and sanders. Learn the ins-and-outs of how to use the router. Both router table and hand held router work will be covered. Proper safety and maintenance procedures will also be discussed.
