With Intro to Woodworking I, the student will learn the basic aspects, safety measures and uses of power tools and furniture assembly procedures. You will complete a small wall hanging cabinet. You will gain hands-on experience with basic joinery' how to "4 square" a board as well as hardware installation by the end of the last session.

They make great gifts and can be turned in a small amount of time. This is a great project for beginning and intermediate woodturners. All materials are included for a single project.

Kumiko is a quiet and thoughtful technique that requires patience and precision. The ancient Japanese woodworking technique consists of making patterns from small pieces of interlocking wood. In this course, your instructor would walk you through the steps needed to create delicate pieces of art with wood. Discover how to seamlessly blend art and craftsmanship by mastering the use of geometry, patterns, and clean lines. Take your woodworking skill to the next level. By the end of the course every student will have created a beautiful lantern with a Kumiko pattern on the sizes.
