Tatajuba (Bagassa guianensis) is a premium hardwood known for its interlocking grain and uniform medium texture. Its heartwood ranges from bright to golden yellow, deepening to a rich golden or reddish brown with exposure to light. This unique grain structure and high density make Tatajuba an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor projects.

Perfect for applications such as flooring, decking, furniture, and woodturning, Tatajuba not only machines, turns, and finishes beautifully with both hand and power tools, but it also glues effectively and achieves a smooth, lustrous sheen with finishes.

Importantly, Tatajuba is not listed in CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, ensuring a sustainable choice for your woodworking needs.
