UPDATE with a big Grin!!
After receiving the replacement, this tool is the right one for the job, and I ordered new gouges too by a different company (ok) Flex cut, I found they are sharper and stay a bit longer, BUT not a bad thing as now have plenty, I use the stock tools on softer woods and the newer ones for the harder woods. And I am very happy with the WECHEER unit. It has done a great job and I do a lot of small wood carving and can hardly wit till I start on Soapstone. Note here I do re-sharpen my tools often, and that is a key keeping things working for you. Thanks to Woodcraft Supply's customer Care Chuck

Works ok but with a surprise !
As I started going along on a piece of Tupelo and difficult cuts to make, I noticed black blood coming out of the work attachment at the chisel fitting. Of course all over my carving and quite disturbing at that! And now after reading an earlier review it figured. Now I did contacy the seller and they are replaceing it at no cost, I wonder? How many more are "leaking grease" . ? But this compay is great both in reaction and action, I applaude them and thanks to their help. Chuck

Good, but came with limited instructions
I have used the Wecheer to do carvings with a small router bit in a sleeve. Does a good job. My concern was when I hooked up the carving attachement and black grease started coming out. Not sure if this is common. Besides that it seems to run well.

Good addition to Wecheer
Great for carving wood spirit hiking staffs. Recommend Getting Flexcut RG gouges for use with it as they are very sharp.
