This unique Horsehair Texturing Brush has been used for more than 100 years, either in conjunction with the Rough Finish Texturing Brush and the Medium Finish Brush or as a stand-alone item to polish wood. Brush back and forth with the grain to add a high polish. Using this brush, along the Medium Finish Brush, will polish the wood and eliminate the need for finish. Medium Brush (#159616) sold separately.
When the brush becomes short from use, release the thread from the brush edge. Do not release many rows at the same time as it is difficult to wind it back around the reed. Pull the tread in the middle to tie the brush once again around the reed. Please ensure the knot is tight. When the thread in the middle becomes long, do not cut it too short. Continue to wrap it around the reed. The extra length will help the brush last longer and make it easier to hold.
